With the body removed, you are able to see the light-weight design of its tubular space frame and the other structural parts that mark model-building at its finest. One of the highlights of the Maserati 300S was its victory in the 1,000 km endurance race of the Nürburgring in 1956. Competitors like Ferrari, Jaguar and Aston Martin simply didn’t stand a chance in the race.
